Truffle Festival in Sant'Agata Feltria

A national event held every year on sundays in Sant'Agata Feltria that attracts numerous connoisseurs of the delicious and fragrant white truffle. Hypnotized by the “truffle”, as well as the famous tuber, stands sell all the autumnal products this generous Appennine area offers including mushrooms, chestnuts, honey, officinal herbs and other agricultural and pastoral products (like Fossa cheese, a tradition that has recently been rediscovered). The careful selection of products and the specialities present at the fair are a guarantee of wholesomeness and freshness and make this event one of the most important in the sector. Specialities made using truffles and mushrooms can be savoured in the restaurants and on the stands. The roads, squares and most characteristic areas of the village, which boasts the title of “Truffle City”, are filled with inebriating aromas. Several exhibitions and shows are held lasting the entire duration of the event.

1 DAY ARRIVAL IN RIMINI
Arrival at the Hotel in Rimini area. Accomodation, dinner and overnight stay.

2 DAY: RIMINI AND SAN MARINO
Breakfast and meeting with the guide for a guided tour in Rimini. Rimini was the birthplace of the italian film director Federico Fellini. The visit starts from the roman Arch of Augustus, Tre Martiri Square, the Dom known as the Tempio Malatestiano, Cavour Square till theTiberius' Bridge. Saturdays in the old town take place the city market with possibility for shopping. In the afternoon the visit continues to San Marino, the eldest Republic of the world. The visit goes through the narrow streets and the old medieval walls. At the end stop for wine and local products tasting. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 NATIONAL TRUFFLE FAIR IN SANT'AGATA FELTRIA
Breakfast and departure to Sant'Agata Feltria with tour leader. All day dedicated to the fair of the truffle and not only... Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast departure for your home destination.
