Tuscany and Liguria: enchanting beauty

1° Day: ARRIVAL IN VERSILIA COAST
Arrival in Versilia. Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight.

2° Day: VOLTERRA AND SAN GIMIGNANO
After breakfast, visit of the medieval Volterra, surrounded by an impressive city wall and embedded in a wonderful hilly landscape. You will visit an alabaster factory where this material so similar to the marble, is processed. In the afternoon visit of San Gimignano, the "city of towers", also known as the medieval Manhattan. Return to Hotel, dinner and overnight.

3° Day: LUCCA AND PISA
After breakfast drive to Lucca, the city with the numerous, interesting churches and a completely preserved city wall. Afternoon visit of Pisa known for its leaning tower. On the way back get a wine tasting with snacks. Dinner and overnight.

4° Day: GENOVA AND TIGULLIO GULF
After breakfast, full day excursion to Genoa and Gulf of Tigullio. In the morning you go exploring Genoa, a maritime republic with a glorious past, rich of beautiful palazzi and characteristic "Caruggi" (the typical narrow streets). Continue to Rapallo, a locality, situated directly on the sea, dreamy and beautiful. From here you can reach by boat the exclusive Portofino; fishing boats and luxury yachts lying here next to each other. Discover Portofino with a relaxing walk along the harbour and then make a boat trip to San Fruttuoso where you will visit its Benedictine abbey. Boat trip back to Rapallo. Return in hotel, dinner and overnight.

5° Day: 5 TERRE
Breakfast and departure to the Cinque Terre to see the violent contrast between sea, steep cliffs, stony earth and green vineyards. By bus you reach La Spezia. By train you arrive in Vernazza and further to Monterosso. In the afternoon return by boat to La Spezia. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

6° Day: DEPARTURE
After breakfast departure for your home destination.
