Campania: Dreamlike southern Italy

1° Day: STOP NIGHT IN CHIANCIANO
Bus ride through the Apennines to Chianciano Terme. Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight.

2° Day: MONTECASSINO AND ARRIVAL IN SORRENTO
After breakfast drive to Montecassino, leaving Rome behind, and visit with the guide of the famous abbey. After the visit, transfer to Sorrento. Accommodation in the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

3° Day: AMALFI COAST
Breakfast and day trip along the Amalfi Coast . The coastal road "Amalfitana" is one of the finest coastal roads of the world. The guide shows you the most beautiful famous locations. You drive through the gorgeous Positano to Amalfi. Walking across Amalfi, you visit the cathedral and its lively old town. On the return tasting of limoncello, a liqueur from the odorous lemon peel . Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

4° Day: NAPLES-VESUVIUS-POMPEII
After breakfast drive to Naples. The guide expects you there to visit the third largest City of Italy. Look at the old town, Castelnuovo, the Palazzo Reale and the harbour with stunning views. After that climb by bus to Mount Vesuvius up to a height of 1000m. The tour goes on to Pompeii: buried by ash, today the archaeological excavations of the Roman town are a testament to the vibrant antiquities. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

5° Day: CAPRI ISLAND
After breakfast, trip to the Island of Capri. You reach the port of Sorrento with the Bus. From Sorrento, take the boat to the idyllic Rock Island. Continue by minibus to the world famous Piazzetta. Walk with your tour guide to the gardens Augustus with fantastic views of the Faraglioni rocks. Leisure in Capri. In the afternoon return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

6° Day: SORRENTO
Breakfast and drive to Sorrento. Walk promenade through the streets and roads, visit of the Correale Museum and the Cathedral.Then you reach the Port to eat an ice cream or to drink a cappuccino. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

7° Day: STOPOVER NIGHT IN ASSISI/SURROUNDINGS
After breakfast the journey home begins with a stop at Assisi. You will visit the Basilica of San Francesco. Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight.

8°AfterDay: DEPARTURE
Breakfast departure for your home destination.
